After the hair is cleansed and conditioned, it is carefully blow-dried and styled using techniques designed to smooth the hair while creating the body, movement, bounce, and shine Dominican blowouts are known for.

Depending on your hair type, texture, and desired result, additional techniques may be used to help achieve the finished style. However, the blow dryer and professional brush work are at the heart of the service.

What is a Silk Press?

A Silk Press is designed to create a sleeker, straighter, more polished finish, particularly on natural and textured hair.

After cleansing, conditioning, and blow-drying the hair, your stylist uses a professional flat iron to carefully smooth sections of the hair. This additional step allows the stylist to create a straighter, silkier finish from roots to ends.

Because a Silk Press includes the additional flat-ironing process, it requires more time, detailed sectioning, and additional heat styling than our standard Dominican Blowout.

Silk Press services start at $85.
